As of March 2024, our herd is made up of:

36 Mustangs from the Sand Wash Basin

4 Mustangs from the Piceance Basin

2 Mustangs from Oregon (Paisley Desert and Pokegama)

1 Mustang from Nevada (Spruce Pequop)

2 Mustang mares from Nevada (region unknown)

2 Burros from Arizona (Lake Pleasant and Black Mountain)

Our Mustang Mission began in 2019 with 3 Warm Springs Mustangs from Oregon. They are now living their best lives close by with their adoptive families.

Your donation will go directly to the care of these special and deserving equines. If you wish to sponsor a particular horse, please see our tiered sponsorship programs below.

We are a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization, so your donations are tax deductible.

How It Works
You will find our different levels of sponsorship articulated below.

Each level has its own benefits, and the higher the level of sponsorship, the more your benefits increase.

How to Sponsor a Horse

1. Click on the horse's unique sponsorship link.

2. Find the dropdown menu and select which sponsorship program is right for you.

3. Type in that amount above the dropdown menu.

4. Click the "Make this a Monthly Donation" box.

5. Click to Donate through PayPal or use a Credit/Debit card & finalize your support.

6. Check your mail & email for your applicable sponsorship package!

Meet Your Mustang!
All monthly sponsorship packages include a special, invitation-only event held annually here at Stormie Acres Ranch.

Sponsors will get to meet their mustang(s), tour the property, enjoy a meal, and celebrate these special souls with us!
